Outside: Detached stone cottage , built in 1840 (near to cottage 351) in a haven of peace and tranquility on the south facing slopes of the Mizen Head Peninsula. It is situated in 47 acres of lush woodland with an abundance of flora and fauna over 200 species of trees and shrubs, wild flower meadows, vegetable gardens and many walks. Produce available from the owner's productive vegetable garden and flock of genial hens. 3 miles from the charming and colourful village of Ballydehob for a selection of restaurants, shops, pubs and the sea. The little fishing harbour of Schull is 8 miles away for boat trips to Cape Clear Island, seafood, Irish music, craft shops, art galleries etc. Sheeps Head Way (45 mile walk). Bantry 8 miles.
