Newly renovated traditional stone cottage, quiet and secluded, at the foot of the Slieve Miskish Mountains with views of Kenmare River to the Macgillycuddy Reeks and Caha Mountains. Ardgroom straddles both the Ring of Beara walking and cycling routes and is located on the Wild Atlantic Way. Ardgroom is a great base to explore the Beara Peninsula, The Healy Pass, Dursey Island, Dunboy Castle and enjoy the West Cork Sailing Centre in Adrigole and Star Sailing Centre in Kenmare. Ardgroom (1½ miles) has a shop, pub and petrol station, caves and beaches, as well as a Stone Circle dating back to 1000BC. Excellent restaurants in the area. Trout fishing available locally.
