Description
Outside
Detached stone cottage, recently restored, in the grounds of charming country house (B&B) on the Wild Atlantic Way. It is tucked away in a quiet valley in extensive well tended gardens of 3.5 acres offering an array of colour and featuring an abundance of flowers and a huge variety of sub tropical plants and mature shrubs and trees. There are walks in the grounds that feature an ancient boulder-burial site, and panoramic views. The gardens are open to guests any time, with benches and outdoor seating areas to sit down, relax and enjoy. It is an ideal location for touring or walking Mizen Head, the Sheep's Head and Beara peninsula. The village of Durrus is about 2.5 miles (4 km) for nearest shops, pubs and restaurants. Garden furniture.
