Reviews

We stayed at Johns Cottage, Leenane, Co Galway over the Christmas and New Year period 2023 and have to say it was a wonderful experience. We arrived to a beautiful Christmas tree lit up, fairy lights adoring the sun room and a very nice gift. The weather wasn't great but the house was magical and had everything we needed for a warm, cosy stay. The views are breath-taking from the sitting room and it felt like being in a painting while looking out from there. Eamonn is a pure gentleman and also very responsive with any questions we had prior to our arrival. Eddie too, who received us when we arrived gave us a lovely welcome and showed us all the bits and pieces we needed to know. Our stay was joyful, private and homely and cannot recommend highly enough this cottage for a real West of Ireland experience. We hope to be back. Mr T Dunne, stayed 23 December - 6 January 2024

Tom D,

We’ve always found the cottages as promised and cannot fault the exchanges with staff like Tracey from Shamrock Cottages who has always been professional and always very helpful.

Mr G P,

Pictures of property shows it in a good lite. However property is very dated. That said you can't knock its outlook, absolutely fantastic. What's to knock when you see Dolphins and Otters out the window. Owner very helpful.

Mr Gordon M,

Mrs Romy C,

The cottage isn’t perfect (washbasins, shower…) but these are details, I like it as it is, no superfluous luxury, it is authentic, nice owner, beautiful view, and I Iove this place since I was a child…

Mrs Agnes C,

Eannon was a Real nice man. We felt very comfortable and as if We were at home.

Mrs Josiane D,

Everything was wonderful
