Traditional, renovated cottage, on elevated site with spectacular southerly outlook over the varied coastline beside Valentia Island and the Portmagee Channel to the mountains beyond.The cottage is in the International Dark Sky Reserve and a short distance from Skellig Michael, the film location of Star Wars. The sea is about ¼ mile and fine 'blue flag' sandy beach about a mile. An excellent base for touring and walking along the Kerry Way. Cahergal and Leachanbuile Forts and Ballycarbery Castle all nearby. Cahirciveen 4 miles for shops, seafood restaurants, traditional music pubs and riding centre. Ferry to Valentia Island. Garden furniture and barbecue.

Well-furnished and equipped with sitting room with woodburning stove, kitchen/dining room, bathroom with W.C., separate shower and W.C. and three bedrooms one with a double, one with two singles and steep stairs to loft bedroom with one double. Duvets. Oil fired central heating. Washing machine, dryer in outhouse. Fridge with freezer box. Flat screen satellite TV and DVD. CD/radio. Microwave. Hairdryer. No pets. No smoking.
