Two safe, sandy beaches, one at Sandycove 1.5 miles ( 2.5 km) and another at Tragumna 6 miles (10 km). Interesting and varied coastal scenery with many islands, inlets and headlands. The unique land-locked, Lough Hyne nature reserve is a 7 mile ( 12 km) drive. Baltimore lies to the west with sailing schools and ferries to the islands. Glandore, to the east also has a sailing school. Sea angling, whale watching trips, kayaking and golf are all available in the area. Garden furniture.
